I’d forgotten I even had porcelain crowns until one shattered last Friday night. The next morning I reached out to seventeen emergency dentists prior to opening and followed up with most after opening. Dr. Beckford was the only one who returned my call. The few who took my second call didn’t call me back after saying they would see if they could fit me in and circle back. Dr. Beckford is extremely down to earth and has a calm, disarmingly casual demeanor. She is direct, matter-of-fact, and you know exactly what to expect before your service begins. She gave me a comprehensive rundown of my options, clearly explained each one, and left the decision up to me. Good experienced and she really came through for me in a pinch.

I called Dr. Beckford for an abscessed tooth problem after looking for emergency dentistry online. She called me back within an hour of my evening call to her office. She was so reassuring and fun to talk to as well. I especially like how she explains things clearly and in lay terms. Dr. Beckford is incredibly talented with all things teeth and as a bonus, she keeps you laughing! There's no judgement in that office -- no guilt, no shame. I've often struggled with follow-through when anything tricky was referred out to a specialist, but there's so much that Dr. Beckford is qualified to do in her office -- and she does it extremely well. I've been going for three years and am so comfortable there.
